"Bianchetto Truffle" or White Truffle (Tuber Borchii Vitt.) it can be con- fused with the Tuber Magnatum because at a first glance it shows the same characteristics: irregular, smooth and off-white colour but the difference that when it ripens both skin and flesh becomes darker.
Usually small in size (average weight: 10 g) has a very peculiar smell with a garlic-like note that which charac- terises this specie. Its collection period is from January to March.
